Description
Blended from three distinctly different types of grain whisky, a clean, a medium and a heavy distillate, all from corn and distilled through two, three and four column continuous stills, later aged in a combination of Spanish wine oak and American white oak casks. An outstanding blended grain whisky from the legendary Japanese distillers, Suntory, named after their distillery built on the shores of the Chita Peninsula. A colour of bright gold and offering up aromas of creme brulee, cardamom, acacia honey and blossoming rose. The taste is both smooth and mild with a hint of mint and deep honey, whilst the finish is clear with spiced oak and bittersweet notes.
