Description
Tomintoul 12 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish was distilled in 2009 and matured initially in ex-bourbon American oak casks before being finished in Oloroso Sherry butts sourced by Master Distiller Robert Fleming from Andalucia, Spain. Nose: Rich and fruity with pronounced aromas of brittle toffee, dried fruits, milk chocolate and baking spices. Palate: Sweet and silky with layers of coffee cake, sultanas and mocha mingled with toasted walnuts and candied cloves. Finish: Nutty and warming with notes of maple syrup, coffee grounds and warm pecan pie. Finish: Mellow & soothing.
