Description
This has much more in common with red Burgundy than typical ‘New World’ Pinot, with beautiful delicacy of colour and aroma. There is an autumnal hedgerow theme, with suggestions of sloe, rosehip and wild cherry, alongside savoury leather and smoked brown cardamom nuances. It is succulent, soft and rounded on the palate, with outstanding balance. From new vineyards on Argentina’s Atlantic coast, the maritime climate here produces very different wines from the more familiar regions towards the Andes.
