Description
The Barton 1792 Distillery operates on the site of the historic Tom Moore Distillery, established in 1879 near the Tom Moore Spring, the same spring they draw their iron-free limestone water from today. A unique mash bill containing more rye than most, resulting in full-bodied, complex taste thats not too sweet. Each barrel ages no less than 8 years when they reach their peak of maturity they are removed from Warehouse Z. Big, weighty rye with an attitude. In a herd of any 30 random bourbons, this one would stand out by nose alone! Jim Murrays Whisky Bible, 2010 edition: 92.5 Rating.
